Many centuries ago, the very first European settlers to the new world found this land to be difficult, nearly impossible to scratch out an existence for their people. Death was a daily part of life. As disease and constant enemy attacks took their toll some of the townfolk, concerned for the existence of the colony, became obsessed with preventing the constant death around them. These Rogue Villagers turned to the study and practice of Black Magic, and soon they began conducting strange and terrifying experiment on the recently deceased, hoping to reanimate them...

Because of their practices, it was widely rumored that a portal was opened that unleashed evil spirits upon them, shadows, that walked amonst them and drove the once peaceful people mad. They were convinced that they must continue their research and to take more innocent victims, but now they longer waited for them to first expire....

 As their wickedness increased, they were banished from their village never to return. The "Death Cult", as they became known settled in a remote forest far from town. But in the deep, dark forest the evil was allowed to increase and the very forest itself seemed angry, and felt evil. No living souls were welcomed, and few dared to enter their realm. The fall harvest brought about even more strange behavior from the forest. Screams of the tortured could be heard for miles, culminating on All Hallows Eve, or Halloween.  Locals spoke of  the forest in old tales and rhymes to scare their children into behaving, and it was often called the Creepywoods Haunted Forest.

As their old village grew and everyone around them embraced modern Science and Technology, the Death Cult, the evil Secret Society looked deeper in to the past calling upon their old world knowledge and ways even to this day. Anyone who passes by or was even curious enough to enter were never seen or heard from again, becoming their next tortured experiment.

 But now it is time for you to summon your courage and tempt your fate. Will you make it out alive this Halloween season or fall victim to the Maryland's scariest Haunted trail at Creepywoods Haunted Forest?
